Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
2D Unity allows a user to drag any page across to the launcher and have it be added as a link to the launcher. The feature also pulls the appropriate icon into the launcher at a higher res than the standard favicons. The inconsistency between the two versions is a challenge in productisation with OEMs. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: unity 3.6.6-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-7.38-generic 2.6.38 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-7-generic i686 Architecture: i386 CompizPlugins: [core, bailer, detection, composite, opengl, decor, mousepoll, vpswitch, regex, animation, snap, expo, move, compiztoolbox, place, grid, imgpng, gnomecompat, wall, ezoom, workarounds, staticswitcher, resize, fade, unitymtgrabhandles, scale, session, unityshell] Date: Fri Apr 1 12:32:17 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_GB:en LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-03-04 (27 days ago) ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Didier Roche (didrocks) Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty unity-2d -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/747192 Title: 3D Unity lacks basic feature parity w/ 2D version around FF Bookmark handling -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
