Feisty has moved to libata for ata disks, which means that now ata and
sata disks both appear as sd* and there's no hd* anymore. (see:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LibAtaForAtaDisks )
Ubuntu (even pre-Feisty installers) configures /etc/fstab to mount
partitions using UUID by default exactly to avoid your issue.
