With unity 3.8.2 and trunk, it is possible to close unity via the global menu
with the keyboard, as follows:
1. Move to the launcher with Alt + F1.
2. Press escape.
3. Press F10, and using the arrow, navigate through the indicators till you
land on the file menu.
You can then choose close from there.
