Public bug reported:

I have no network connectivity via ethernet cable. This problem has been
going on now for 3 months. I did have network connectivity until
2.6.26-generic. I am relying only on Wireless network connectivity,
which works flawlessly.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04.02
My notebook is Acer TimelineX 1830T-3721
