Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.38-7-generic
Following my upgrade from maverick to natty I discovered that my SATA
ExpressCard no longer works. Here's what shows up in dmesg when I plug
it in on maverick's kernel:

On natty's kernel nothing happens when I plug in the card, and when I
unplug it the system seems to freeze for a minute or so before
rebooting.
I encountered similar problems when running upstream 2.6.38.2, and
upstream 2.6.37 works fine.
