I have tried to install Ubuntu 6.06 (sept 2006/LXF83D/09/06) from disc.
It partitioned great and okay.Half way installing the distro,from the
desktop "Install" everything just stopped. I got the above error message
to give to you from the desktop screen. I am not sure now what to do.I
would love to install Ubuntu, eventually, and once this bug is sorted
out. Is there any way around this problem ?? Thanking you.
