Public bug reported:
I'm still new to linux so I can't tell exactly which package(s) are in
cause, however here is a description of the problem. Sometimes ( not all
the time , that's what makes it weird ) when I have to enter a password
to do administrative task ( like opening synaptic package manager )
after entering the password and pressing ENTER, the window fades back to
my desktops but does not complete the fade and freezes my desktop. When
it happens I cannot interact with either buttons or menus or anything
else, still I see my mouse moving flawlessly and I can still here my
music playing. Only way to get back to work is by relogging using
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace . I've had that "bug" a couple of times now I wish I
could be more specific telling exactly when the bug is produced but he
only thing I can say is that it seems to happen when I have been
connected for some time ( like 2 hours or so ). Hope this will be
helpfull in finding what cause the problem. Thanks !
