The right mic is selected both in gnome-volume-control and pavucontrol (yes, I have to use both - I use a USB wireless headset and Skype input defaults to onboard audio even though the headset is set to be used by gnome-volume-control. Typically I plug in my headset, adjust input and output radio buttons in gnome-volume-control to the headset manually, start the Skype conversation, go into pavucontrol, adjust skype input - so tedious and boring).
I'll look into obtaining the logs later today, but I'm sure the settings are the same. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/751307 Title: Skype's input audio quality severely degraded -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
