well thats the end of the road for ubuntu in my life then (at least for this
release) I cant even know if sound will work on a laptop without updating?
Time to find a new distro unless this can make it into final release. This is a
major bug, affecting nearly everyone I know with a laptop how can it not be
fixed in the release?
