The reason for the sync was to reduce the delta and bring in at least:
* Cherry pick upstream commit which fixes up emission of change events
over D-bus. (Closes: #617199)
As well as the optional dependency for libpcsclite. I've tested that
with libpcsclite removed wpasupplicant still works, but I haven't been
able to verify that smartcard support was fine (I don't have
smartcards).
As for dependencies, the only dependency in universe is menu, which was
already recommended by wpagui (also in universe) prior to this revision.
I'm happy to drop this update for the time being, we can wait for
wpasupplicant to be synced in the O cycle.
