Yes I agree, this is too late for natty. For what I understand, It can be possible to blacklist the application on the favorites and keep it in the rest of the dash. The software- center show already the number of time an application is used. And I think that we shouldn't break that little detail.
But now, I have an over idea, and why not keep this docked application in the favorites, but filters it at the bottom of the list.
