Hi Graham, can you provide a little more information about this issue:
1) Does it appear only with internal mic or with external mic jack as
well?
2) Does it always appear or is the problem intermittent?
You got these messages in your dmesg log:

Is there also a problem immediately at boot, before these messages
appear?
