I installed Ubuntu Natty 11.04 beta 1 (Vietnamese language). I installed the GIMP in order to make several screen captures. I observed each time I created a new image file from the GIMP File>Create>Screen capture utility, it added a new GIMP icon in the launcher that would not go away when the image file is closed. In the final when the GIMP is closed, I've got as many the Gimp icons as the number of new of files created.
The only way to get rid of these redundant Gimp icons would be to disconnect (log out) and reconnect (log in) again. See the screen attachment. ** Attachment added: "Screen capture of the Ubuntu 11.04 desktop with several GIMP icons in the launcher, although GIMP has been closed." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/752110/+attachment/1992817/+files/gimp_icons_in_launcher.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/752110 Title: Gimp icons in launcher do not go away -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
