Can you please delete these files:
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/dmesg
/var/log/kern.log
shutdown, reboot in 2.6.37 kernel, shutdown, boot in the working kernel and
attach here using the 'Add attachment or patch' button below the files:
/var/log/syslog
/var/log/dmesg
/var/log/kern.log
