Public bug reported:
Since a recent update (not sure which, sorry) I have been unable to
perform a clean shutdown or reboot - it just sits at a black screen
doing nothing (apparently).
Steps to reproduce:
1) Boot up into Ubuntu
2) Shutdown or Reboot using any available command (I've tried command line, and
the power options from the power indicator)
3) Computer ends up on a black screen which needs me to hold down the power
button for 8 seconds to switch off the system
I'm not sure what other debugging information you need for this. What
can I provide for you?
