docky was seperated from gome-do upstream and in Ubuntu. Window titles are (still) truncated in version 2.0.2-1 of the Ubuntu "docky" package. In my opinion this is the exact issue discussed here. So my update of the bug meta-data was my way to express the changes and progress of gnome-do/docky.
You may disagree with my way, and even I believe that opening a new ticket or marking docky as "also affected" would have been more explicit, but please stay polite and professional. However I do not think gnome-do developers will change anything about the behavior and reassigning it to docky could bring it to the attention of the relevant people. Kind of did that :) If you are of the opinion that there is no problem at all and that it should work that way: I see some some advantages and I am sure you know some more. I am willing to talk about it and surely will accept a "no", but please stay polite and professional. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382705 Title: docky grouped menu titles are too narrow / truncated -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
