I can confirm this somewhat: Now it gives a message that my card isn't supported for Unity. Good enough (is it supposed to be unsupported?). But when using "Ubuntu classic (no effects)" I get graphic corruption at the taskbars and menus. Jaunty worked fine. I do also get occasional freezes (can move mouse, but that's all, doesn't respond to keyboard).
