However this seems to be a well known issue at Aurora OS. See this forum page http://forums.auroraos.org/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=5080 Seems that ubiquity is set to install Grub to a non-existant MBR location, in my case hd(0,0). I set it to install on sda and the install proceeded to completion. If it is of interest Aurora was too bulky for my EeePC701 so I installed eeepc 3. > Thanks! > > ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) > Status: New => Incomplete > -- "We have met the enemy and he is us" Pogo Possum ** Attachment added: "Screenshot.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/755833/+attachment/2018816/+files/Screenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/755833 Title: EB4.0 Installer Crashed eeepc701 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
