Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wicd

Wicd doesn't show in the tray, even if I start it manually from a
terminal,  like the following:

$ wicd-gtk
Has notifications support True
rename failed
Loading...
Connecting to daemon...
Connected.
displaytray True
Done loading.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to debug this?
