Errors were encountered while processing: indicator-weather E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) I was able to cleanly remove the package without having to force anything. Thinking it was a fluke, I went ahead and cleaned my local cache and then re-downloaded the package only to return to the same error. So I've confirmed that error was not on my end. It truly does look like this may be a post scripting error as apt suggests. Perhaps there was a change in the recipe and the end result isn't what you were expecting?
