Using Feisty RC 20070415 I can confirm this. The toolbar keeps attached to the cursor, and clicking to place the toolbar on the right place was simply erratic (other windows gained focus or maximized). The only solution was to close gdesklets, by right clicking the icon on the taskbar and selecting close (with the toolbar still attached).
