Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: upower

Like on maverick, the battery indicator module /battery applet is
currently stuck (permanently) on "estimating".

To view battery info, I currently rely on a conky batt. function display
with gauge and the battery indicators main window... instead of the
quick tab function it should normally provide to display either the
remaining time or percentage.
