I have just reinstalled Feisty (failed to upgrade!); but using the old /home/
directory / configuration.
Unfortunately, I still have to disable the KDE sound system before using
audacity:
System Settings -> (General) Sound Systems -> Enable the System
(disabled)
The message is: "Error while opening the sound device. Please check the
output device settings and the project sample rate."
