I am marking this low priority assuming that '-vga vmware' is a valid
(and in fact superior) workaround. If you find that vmware doesn't work
for you, please ping here. I will continue to look at this and try to
get it working, but since I can't get a stock recompiled qemu 0.14.0 to
work with widescreen -vga std either, there's something more wrong than
missing modelines.
