Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: unity
On my brand new natty unity desktop, I wanted to add Skype to the
startup applications. I tried doing as I did in classic Gnome: dragging
the application icon from the unity panel (either straight from the
panel or from the "applications" menu) to the gnome-session-properties
but it had no effect.
I think the process to add applications to startup was convoluted enough
before Unity. It is a shame that beginners have to look for the command
corresponding to the application they want to set to autostart...
I guess this drag and drop issue may affect other applications too.
