Its not a question of being exactly the same problem, but of having the
SAME solution (see last post of bug #82242):
The script /usr/share/powernowd/cpufreq-detect.sh would have to be modified to
use acpi_cpufreq by default.
I'll take a look at the script.
Why this hasn't been done so far is unfortunately outside of my
powers......
