Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
I know we are close to final release [and downtimes on launchpad don't
help], but it seems to me that either kernel 2.6.20-15.27 has a problem
or at least my drive has.
Yesterday I started noticing a global lack of performance of my laptop. Some
times mouse clicks failled, other key presses wouldn't respond. I even had to
reboot my laptop twice in one day, when I usually only hibernate the system,
and reboot for major system updates.
I looked in the log, and saw some hard drives lock up lines, but not sure if
those had anything to do with the kernel or if hardware problems are the cause
of this slowness.
Currently I'm usinge the previous version of kernel (Ubuntu
2.6.20-14.22-generic).
Can anyone else confirm this problems?
thanks and good work, and best of luck with the new rellease, which by
the way I'm using since Herd2
