Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: plymouth
I have an encrypted setup that was initiated by the guided install.
About 50% of the time, when I boot, I get a plain purple screen that
never resolves into the "enter password" screen to unencrypt the disk.
This makes the system unbootable.
Turning off at this point and then restarting usually presents the grub
menu and selecting the default entry manually by pressing enter has, so
far, always resolved in a successful boot.
My hardware is a Toshiba C650 series laptop.
