As stated in my previous comment, I understood you just fine, I verified that my settings were indeed correct - I know this especially because this very profile was used a few days ago to communicate using gossip- telepathy via googletalk on Fedora Development. I assure you, my settings are 100% correct. In the very same bug you pointed me to was mentioned a secondary issue surrounding NetworkManager, from which I do not suffer.
