Public bug reported:
Ext3 and Ext4 are terrible for recovering an accidentally removed file.
Disk spave seem to grow faster than disk access does, and scanning a
whole disk for file type structures matching the lost file is becoming
impractical. A different, more specific way f recovering files is
needed.
