This is extremely puzzling, the traceback attached to this has code in
it that shouldn't exist. Have you modified any of the gwibber files in
your install?
Specifically, from the traceback posted in the bug report:
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gwibber/microblog/dispatcher.py", line
291, in __init__
launcher = Unity.LauncherEntry.get_for_hostname_id ("gwibber.hostname")
However, in 3.0.0.1-0ubuntu2, it contains:
launcher = Unity.LauncherEntry.get_for_desktop_id ("gwibber.desktop")
It looks like someone did a search and replace, replacing "desktop" with
"hostname".
