Binary package hint: unity
When installing Ubuntu 11.04 beta 2 and installing updates during the
install, the unity desktop will not run. Checked for additional drivers
and the 3D experimental Nvidia driver is not available. Reinstalled
without updates and and was advised during log-on that the unity
interface would not run, so the system ran in classic mode. Once logged
on, checked for additional drivers and the 3D experimental Nvidia driver
was available. Installed and rebooted, unity running fine, downloaded
all updates and system is running fine. This system will not run unity
without the 3D experimental driver or if updates are installed during
install.
