Gone through these steps to reproduce this issue: # Put all my CPUs in "Performance" setting in CPU Frequency Monitor applet. # Open a new Video DVD project in DeVeDe. # Add about 10 titles each with an rmbv formatted video in it. # Enable Multi-thread option and start encoding. # About the 4th or 5th video the CPUs gone to the minimum frequency and can't change them, although the setting is still in "Performance".
If there is a way to get the info from the kernel module controlling the CPU please let me know how. Thanks in advance. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748633 Title: mencoder freezes cpu scaling at "OnDemand" in minimum frequency -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
