Oh yes you are absolutly right, its a opinion. and im sorry if I heart
some feelings about it, probably I wasnt enough diplomatic in my
description (maybe a total #$%^). the point is that a time ago exactly
this kind of gradiants etc were nice, but in my opinion time changed and
design as well.

let me explain the concerns about the current color and font schema in firefox
4 tabs:
- the font feels heavy and a secondary user reflex is that the whole ff4 feels
heavy
- the font is quiet big for its purpose and hides to much title
- the difference between the inactive tab and the hovered tab are so small that
you nearly get confused
- the gradient is not up to date, if the design team prefers the gradients, so
it should (in my opinion) work out a better and fresher one.

positive effects of the change (or any similar change) would be:
- user feels ff more agile and modern
- user gets less confused about coloring, because coloring gets much clearer
and more obvious
- new users get a fresher fist impression

I like Ubuntu and over all 11.04 because you guys really put energy in detail
work. Design is so important that a user feels good. Users compare, users feel
and users get a first impression.

Something I didnt understand:
Bottom Tab? Why? It changes nothing on positioning.

That it doesnt break other themes... well you are the pros, i have no
idea how to implement that in a distro-way :) im just a happy ubuntu
user who got some user feedbacks from friends and family and wants to
help the community.
