The problem with the fallback in virtualbox you mentioned in comment #13 is
fixed as well.
The issue with the 'hidden icons' in comment #15 is bug 745681 and is 'fixed
release'
If you're still facing the 'hang issue' could you please run the installation
with 'ubiquity -d' and file a new report with the command:
$ ubuntu-bug ubiquity
from system you're experiencing this issue. Thanks.
