Maybe there possible other way to make install of acceleration video support easy?
Just for example: Now Jockey show nVidia or AMD proprietary drivers in the list, when there is supported hardware and when drivers is available. So maybe when multiverse/universe repo is avilable AND there is supported hardware AND proprietary driver is already istalled, Jockey will suggest to install one of this packages (xvba-va-driver or vdpau-va-driver) as "Additional package for video acceleration"? Please think about it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/763331 Title: VA-API packages helper should be installed with the proprietary drivers -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
