a (ctrl-c) stops new dots from appearing but the process hangs
Same thing with the gui version ubuntu-bug, just keeps showing the
infinite progress bar. Clicking cancel makes the window unresponsive
Hint: I'm on a company network and need a proxy to connect to the net, I
do have http_proxy and https_proxy set.
