Alan, this is a crash in gnome-settings-daemon, not unity (see apport
color as well). Can you report all crashes with the .crash file you can
fin in /var/crash/*.crash (you should have a gnome-settings-daemon one)
so that we are able to debug it? Without those information, there is no
way to know what happened unfortunately.
