Public bug reported:
On mSI K9nGM ubuntu/ kubuntu 64 fail to boot passing the grub screen
displayingh a brief message saying "kernel alive" then putting the PC
into what appears to be a hibernation state noapic nolapic kernel
parameters have no effect.
Ubuntu/ Kubuntu 32 bit run OK but do have ACPI Bios bug error messages
"timer disconnected etc."
