Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xmms-jack

I use XMMS basically to stream music to a jack server. Having not done this for
a while I recognised (after several updates from ubuntu 6.10 to ubuntu 7.04,
2.6.20-15-realtime) that xmms starts with error messages during the jack_init
process. In detail, xmms is not able to open 'libxmms.so'. And that's right,
there is not libxmms.so but libxmms.so.1 (ubuntu u7.04 (/usr/lib/) ).
***********************************************
$ xmms
Message: device: default
jack_init:initializing
jack_init:unable to dlopen 'libxmms.so'
***********************************************

To link libxmms.so.1 to libxmms.so was no solution.

Hope this is a bug and not just a user problem.

thx.
