This problem started happening for me on Natty and it was working fine on Maverick. I am using the Ubuntu Classical Desktop rather than unity. My setup is as follows two ATI video cards connected to three monitors. Video card 1: two monitors at 1600x1200 each. I can add applets to these monitors without a problem Video Card 2: one monitor at 1400x900 (Some applets on this monitor crash, see below)
I even tried creating a new panel on the third monitor and adding applets to it and the error message still comes up: "Window List" has quit unexpectedly If you reload a panel object, it will automatically be added back to the panel. I can add some applets to the panel but others fail with the message above, so far these applets fail to attach to the panel: Window List Window Selector Workspace Switcher Trash System Monitor Show Desktop Notification Area Clock The following apps attached fine to the panel Main Menu Menu Bar -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/674791 Title: natty session has many panel applets crash -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
