Hello. I had similar problem. Unity was hanging at startup. Sometimes there was only launcher, sometimes launcher + indicators + keyring password prompt. After I tried Ubuntu Classic, turned out that there was similar problem there. Furthermore, failsafe (low graphic) mode was running ok. I tried to remove nvidia drivers, but now Ubuntu is not starting at all.
