same problem solved...HiPHoP...HURRAAAAAAAAAAAY Solution: By : Celso Pinto said on 2006-04-09: (permalink) The led on dv1000 is disabled by default. You can enable wlan leds with the following command as root:
% echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/ipw2200/0000\:02\:06.0/led This applies for dv1245ea which is of the dv1000 family. The led not being enable has no interference with radio kill switch operations. Since Flight6 ships with network-manager, it's easy to discover if the switch is on or off: if you see a network you have it on, otherwise it's off. By default, the kill switch is off so after boot you have the ability to join any network you wish. -- HP Pavilion dv1000 laptop wireless button will not enable and disable wireless https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/26075 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
