** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gedit

- When I open up an IDL script (*.pro) I don't get offered syntax
- highlighting. I've tried to enable it in the gedit options and still
- nothing.
+ Gedit doesn't offer syntax highlighting for IDL scripts (i.e., .pro
+ files). An IDL highlighting option seems to be available but enabling
+ it (View -> Highlighting Mode --> Sources) doesn't do anything.  I'm
+ currently using Ubuntu 10.10 but have had the same problem since 7.04.

- Using Kate (KDE Editor) I get the syntax highlighting to work straight
- away. I'm using 7.10 but I had the same problem with 7.04.
+ btw, It works automatically in Kate
