That reasoning makes good sense to me; I have no objection to it. (In any case, your accompanying comment clarifies the meaning of this bug's architecture-tagless state, so while some bugs are reported without tags because the original reporters--typically not using apport--didn't supply architecture information, I doubt this bug would be assumed to be in that situation.)
