[Edit - additional information added]. Same bug occurs when installing
in text-mode (not OEM). Standard partitioning without LVM functions
flawlessly - when calculating partions the progress bar flies by as
expected, application of partition occurs, and install continues.
Attempting text-mode install with LVM results in hang @ 60% for 3
minutes, then hangs for 15+ minutes at 80%. While stuck at 80%
installer is using 100% of the CPU (installed under VirtualBox)
rendering the remaining host processes useless until the installer
finishes.

The bug description text needs to be changed to "Guided partitoning with
LVM (TEXT install) progress bar hangs at 60%, then 80%". The package
could be partman.
