Public bug reported:
In the installation, the user is asked to create an username. The
installation program should not allow 'root' as username.
I had a problem yesterday with an user because of this. After
installation, he could not login (as root, of course) because gdm locks
root login by default. I had to instruct him to switch to terminal,
create a normal user account, add this account to admin group and back
to gdm to login into gnome.
