Just want to +1 this but I don't get blurriness, the panels just stop
rendering updates. When I sleep my Laptop (AMD Fusion C-50 based
chipset) the side-bar and the top menu-bar both remain static and stop
updating graphically, but seem to respond to input. A good example is
this:

-> Wake from sleep
-> Login from screensaver password prompt
-> Sidebar is immediately visible and never goes away
-> The network manager applet shows the empty wifi icon even though I've
already received notification that I'm reconnected to the network
-> Clicking on the nm-applet icon displays the menu without issue, but the
icons in the bar don't change
-> Also, the launcher panel never re-hides itself but I can't seem to click on
any of the icons
---> Noted that if I move the mouse to the very left, I can click the icons and
open stuff... but the panel still remains static (I only knew this because of
the tool-tips when hovering over the icons), so it appears that the graphics
are stuck and the panel is actually hidden, but invisible because of the stuck
graphics.

Just to note, hitting Alt+F2 to display the run-dialog works, but the
rendering of the run-dialog might not be tied to the same parts of
unity. With the run-dialog I'm able to issue `compiz --replace` and
everything starts working fine again.

Hopefully I've explained this well enough.
