Public bug reported:
First the god news /etc/fstab/ has appeared. And this is what it says:
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
# /dev/hda1

/dev/hdd /media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy0 auto rw,user,noauto 0 0
However, the second HDD is not 'seen' by the Ubuntu software. I
formatted both drives with DBAN during a laps of good judgement. Now
the second HDD is not showing up. It does show in the BIOS. Thank you
for your time. Pax, Roger
