Alexander: That file fixed everything! My HP Pavillion dv6 qte is finally acceptable under Ubuntu 11.04 using this patched deb. I have a question though: would you consider putting this up in a PPA? I've heard that the new Launchpad Recipes can pull, patch, and build some packages for you (maybe I'm wrong on the patch part).
